Dr. Valerie Morin completed her medical studies and her residency in obstetrics-gynecology at Laval University in Quebec. She then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Morin works as an obstetrician at the Soleil Mother-Child Center of the Center Hospital University of Quebec.

She is president of the perinatal morbidity and mortality committee of the Chu de Quebec. She is also a full professor at Laval University and responsible for the Reproductive System MED-1223 course at the pre-clinical level for medical students. She is involved in teaching interns and residents in hospitals.

Who should attend:  Anyone interested in learning more about the various issues of pregnancy for people living with hydrocephalus or a neural tube defect like spina bifida. Health and allied professionals welcome.

The presentation will be in French with simultaneous interpretation into English. The question period will be bilingual.

This webinar is jointly organized by Hydrocephalus Canada and Spina-bifida hydrocéphalie Québec. This collaboration aims to overcome the language barrier with regard to access to information. We want to bring together our two communities (Francophone and Anglophone) so that they can benefit from the expertise of specialists in the field of the health of people with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.
