We need a BINGO Event Assistant!

The purpose of this volunteer activity is to provide assistance at bingo events where Hydrocephalus Canada (HC) is a designated charity for a bingo session on a monthly basis. Bingo sessions raise funds for HC programs and services.

The gaming centre where this volunteer activity will take place is Bingo World & Gaming located at 350 Newkirk Road, Richmond Hill, ON.

The Bingo Assistant volunteer is accountable to the Director of Information and Programs and activities are directly coordinated by the Bingo Event Organizer.


  • Complete a basic online training session
  • Available to attend bingo events on a regular basis and various shifts, ie. Morning/afternoon/early and late evening
  • Welcome customers and answer general questions about Hydrocephalus Canada
  • Circulate throughout the gaming centre and chat with customers where appropriate
  • If requested by gaming centre, hand out ballots or prizes
  • Assist with clean-up of tables


  • Agree to have a police check conducted
  • A pleasant personality with the ability to relate to people at all levels and walks of life
  • Must be 18 years of age or over
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Have transportation or use transit to attend at the gaming centre location


2.5 hours per event, maximum 2 to 3 times per month 

The Bingo World & Gaming Richmond Hill centre is wheelchair accessible.
