Fundraising & Events Coordinator – 12 Month Contract (possibility for renewal)

Summary Hydrocephalus Canada is recruiting a Fundraising and Events Coordinator to provide support to Hydrocephalus Canada’s ongoing revenue development. Under the leadership of the Director of Development, this part-time role (potential for expansion) will grow fundraising revenue through multiple revenue generating channels (including grants, direct mail, events, and digital fundraising). This is a part time (21 hour/week) contract position with the potential for renewal, and expansion for the right person.
Description Hydrocephalus Canada is the voice of Canadians living with hydrocephalus and/or spina bifida. Our core purpose is to empower those impacted by these complex neurological conditions to experience their best life possible through awareness, education, support and research programs.
HC, a small but dynamic charity, is seeking a Development Associate to support the evolution of fundraising activities for success in the current climate and beyond. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the latest fundraising trends and technology and dedicated to implementing fund development initiatives in a hybrid (virtual and in person) environment.

Hydrocephalus Canada is offering a competitive hourly salary of $30-35/hourly for 21 hours a week. This role will primarily work from a home-based office, with ideally, some in-office hours to support events, with appropriate Covid-19 safety protocols in place (office is located in Toronto). This role will ideally commence September 2021.
