The Spirit Wheel Walk Run is your opportunity to connect with people across Canada living with spina bifid and/or hydrocephalus and/or, throughout the year.

A SWWR can be any type of activity, such as an online Facebook fundraiser, lemonade stand or in-person walk/wheel/run in your favourite park or local neighbourhood. The fun part is you get to be creative with your event and invite your family and friends to join you in raising awareness and funds for the SB& H community!

By starting a fundraiser, you can directly contribute to raising awareness, funding research, providing support services, and improving the lives of individuals with SB&H.

Celebrate Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Awareness through your SWWR by counting how many kilometres you wheel, walk or run throughout the month. Our KM’S FOR SB&H challenge starts June 1^st for SB&H Awareness Month in Canada and goes until World SB&H Awareness Month October 25^TH 2023.

We are challenging people impacted by hydrocephalus and spina bifida to raise awareness in their province. Register to log your Kilometres weekly. Send us photos/videos of your activities. The individual/team that logs the most Kilometres in their province will win a prize and the province will get bragging rights for wheeling, walking or running the most KMs.
