Hugs and Smiles for Hydrocephalus Canada is Back for 2022

Get your camera’s ready! Whether its a selfie or a hug with someone in your household, we are really excited to see how you creatively send your hugs and smiles from across this great country of ours!

“Hugs for Hydrocephalus & Smiles for Spina Bifida” is back this June, and Danny Lamb, HCs Youth Ambassador wants you to send in your Hugs & Smiles pictures or videos!

Help everyone across the country feel connected. We can’t wait to post your pics. Videos are welcome too! Take a photo, video or a selfie hugging someone you are living with who is living with hydrocephalus and/or spina bifida (group hugs work too). Send a photo or video hug and/or smile to someone you care about or just out to everyone.

Email that photo or video with “HUGS FOR H/SMILES FOR SB CANADA” in the subject line to info@hydrocephalus.ca and include a few words about the photo. Who are you hugging/smiling at? 

We’ll feature your photo and dedication on our social media channels and website so that the special people you care about will feel the love. You will be entered to win a gift card. A random draw of all submissions will be held on July 4, 2022.

We are looking at ways that we can still connect with each other this June. Rest assured we will succeed, together. If you have any ideas we would love to hear them. Email us at info@hydrocephalus.ca to share any AWARENESS and/or FUNDRAISING ideas. We would love to hear what you have to say.

Join a Support Group: We have the Adult Hydrocephalus and the Adult Spina Bifida Support Groups. For the time being, these groups are scheduled to happen by teleconference or ZOOM. Hydrocephalus Canada also has created three Facebook Support Groups available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our Facebook page for anyone who needs them.
