7PM Caregiver Series Session Five: Support Systems

Our Caregiver Series is a peer-led series hosted by Recreational Recite and sponsors by Rexall Care Network. The Canada wide program offers caregivers a space to co-create an environment for connecting with others who are experiencing similar challenges, and develop a foundation for support. These five sessions will encourage outcomes including mentorship, resource sharing, self-care guidance, and building networks.
The final session in this series focuses on building strong networks for support and mentorship. A braiding activity can be introduced as a symbol of how each person contributes to their network, and how they strengthen us in turn. This program promotes a sense of community, confidence, and emotional well-being. This program has 5 sessions Oct 9th & 23rd, Nov 6th & 20th, Dec 4th & 11th.
