Monitoring the Individual Education Plan (IEP)

We are almost half way through the school year and nearing the end of the first semester at high school. For students who have an Individual Education Plan (IEP), this is a good time to review the IEP and consider your child’s progress.

The IEP must be reviewed every term or semester and parents should be part of the process. For more information on the IEP, visit http://www.sbhao.on.ca/programs-services/advocacy/education or www.easterseals.org/services/parent-resources. Alison Morse is the Easter Seals Ontario Provincial Coordinator, Special Education and she can be reached at amorse@easterseals.org.
