The Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network (HCRN) investigators met in Pittsburgh PA during the week of April 20, 2016 for their semi-annual investigator meeting. The meeting included presentations from each of the five new HCRN centers that were culled from 20 applications received in response to HCRN’s Request For Applications (RFA) for new centers.

The RFA was posted in the Journal of Neurosurgery: Pediatrics in January 2016.  They are excited to welcome Dr. Edward Ahn (Johns Hopkins), Dr. Todd Hankinson (Colorado Children’s Hospital), Dr. Mark Krieger (Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles) and Dr. Jonathan Pindrick (Nationwide Children’s Hospital). Also congratulations to Dr. Jay Riva-Cambrin, who recently moved to Calgary, Alberta in Canada on the addition of Alberta Children’s Hospital.  These new sites will work to begin enrolling patients in our PCORI funded Entry Site Trial and the HCRN Registry as soon as possible.
